This class is all about getting your weave on! It’s another two-day class for beginners and improvers. Beginners will learn the difference between a wale and a rand, and why and when to use each. Try your hand at single and double weaves, changes of direction, zig zags, and wales. Improvers can work on exploring new weaves or finessing favourites. Work on German, English, and/or Irish mouth wales. Master the rope wale and learn about packing, mock waling, and different pairing techniques. You will go home with at least one “sampler” basket that you can use as a reference for future projects.
Two-day workshop: April 26 & 27, 2025, 9:30-4:30
Course fee: $260 + hst includes all materials, tools, light refreshments (tea, coffee, snacks), fun and creativity. Payment for class is due at time of booking.
