An Introduction or Refresher to Stake and Strand Basketry

This is a lovely little basket – so versatile! Our workshop is a great introduction the craft of willow basketry. Designed for people beginning their willow basketry journey or those looking to refresh and hone their skills,. Its always a fun and friendly one day class. You will learn how to make a stake and strand base, the upsett, twining, waling and bordering techniques. All material has been locally and sustainably grown. All tools and materials are included in the class fee. Come and dip your toe into the world of willow basketry!

Class begins at 9:00 and ends at 5:00 daily.

One-day workshop: September 16, 2025.

Course fee: $125 + hst. Your payment includes all instruction, materials and tools as well as light refreshments. Payment for class is due at time of booking.
