Willow Sculpture Class with Mel Bastier – One-day workshop (June 11)

Mel Bastier, one of the U.K.’s finest willow weavers and sculptors, leads us in this introductory class to make a small bird (e.g., chicken, duck), animal (e.g., squirrel, chipmunk, cat), or animal head from willow. Participants can choose their project. (Participants must choose their project two weeks prior to class commencement so appropriate willow can be soaked.). Brown, white, and buff willow will be used in this class.
