Using a preformed hoop\, you will learn to make a catalan base and a few different weaves depending on your experience level. This basket is sturdy yet beautiful\, perfect to carry your shopping home from the market. A wrapped willow or leather handle completes this versatile basket. \nThis class is best suited to those with some weaving experience. \nClass begins at 9:00 and ends at 4:30 daily. \nTwo-day workshop: July 25 & 26. \nCourse fee: $250 + hst. Your payment includes all instruction\, materials and tools as well as light refreshments.
