DESCRIPTION:This one-day class is perfect for those new to weaving with willow or those who want a weaving refresher. Join us to make a small round\, stake-and-strand basket. In this class\, you will learn about selecting materials\, different weaves such as twining and waling\, and make a nice\, neat trac border. Your basket will be finished off with a pegged handle. This is a lovely little basket and a perfect place to start your basketry journey or reacquaint yourself with this time-honoured craft. \nCourse fee: $125 + HST includes all materials\, tools\, light refreshments (tea\, coffee\, snacks)\, fun\, and creativity.
