Description
This one-day class is perfect for those new to weaving with willow or those who want a weaving refresher. Join us to make a small round, stake-and-strand basket. In this one-day class, you will learn about selecting materials, different weaves such as twining and waling, and make a lovely trac border. Your basket will be finished off with a pegged handle. This is a lovely little basket and a perfect place to start your basketry journey or reacquaint yourself with this time-honoured craft.
Course fee: $125 + HST includes all materials, tools, light refreshments (tea, coffee, snacks), fun, and creativity. Payment for class is due at time of booking.
