Once again we are pleased to welcome Jes Clark of Willow Vale Farm, Hudson Valley, New York, to teach a class with us. This time round the focus of the class will be fitching. Fitching allows for an elegant, lightweight basket that is extremely durable. Using premade hoops, you will make a base, add uprights and bistakes (or scalloms if you have worked with scalloms before), and use a wale weave to create this showstopper. You'll want to use this basket all the time and take it everywhere. It is incredibly versatile.
This class is best suited to intermediate to advance weavers.
Class begins at 9:00 and ends at 4:30 daily.
Your payment includes all instruction, materials and tools as well as light refreshments.
