Two-day workshop: March 29 & 30, 2025, 9:30-4:30
In this two-day class we’ll explore round stake and strand bases. On the first day we will make a series of bases using different techniques. Based on the participant’s skill level, we will explore different methods of beginning the stake and strand base, move to twining and randing, different joins, spacing, and shaping. The second day’s activity will be the participant’s choice: Carry on exploring more techniques or move on with one of your completed bases and make a small basket. You will leave with a finished basket and many sample bases for your library.
Course fee: $260.00 + HST includes all materials, tools, light refreshments (tea, coffee, snacks), fun and creativity. Payment for class is due at time of booking.
