Description
Learn the basics of a stake-and-strand basket.
Beginners will make a fruit or bread basket: a shallow, round basket with a woven or track border. On Day 1, the student will make two bases (working on "base basics"). Day 2 will be about learning different side weaves and a border.
Improvers will make a larger basket: a log or laundry basket. The class will provide an opportunity to hone skills students have learned previously while learning new side weaves.Â
Course fee: $250 + HST includes all materials, tools, light refreshments (tea, coffee, snacks), fun and creativity. Payment for class is due at time of booking.
